Youth Inspiration Week 2013

To all Division Leaders, Union Leaders, Field Leaders, and Youth Leaders:

“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out My spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out My spirit.” Joel 2:28, 29

A resolution passed during the General Conference delegates’ meetings in Metepec, Mexico, and dated July 2007, states that once a year the General Conference Youth Department is to organize a youth revival week. The purpose of this week is to inspire and encourage the youth to give their hearts to the Lord.

Therefore, the General Conference Youth Department has prepared seven studies on the topic of "… In Him We Live,…" for a Youth Inspiration Week, from Sunday, May 19, through Sabbath, May 25, 2013. The studies are prepared in such a way that visiting youth may find their foundation in Jesus Christ, even before they are familiar with many church doctrines.

In addition, church youth leaders will find the studies a tool to help the young people develop their skills in leading group discussions. For that purpose, the youth leaders are requested as much as possible to select a different young person to lead each study.
